I was first introduced to squash at the age of six, but stopped playing for several years to focus seriously on hockey. When I was 12 years old, the sport of squash called me back – igniting a new found passion for the sport and what would lay the groundwork for my squash career.

After taking a break, I was behind my peers, but I loved playing, and worked hard to get to their level. In my last year of Junior Squash, I was a provincial finalist, and made it to the final eight at the Alberta Jesters Jr. In 2020, I got my first PSA (Professional Squash Association) win at the MRU .  I was a finalist at the Calgary Open in October of 2020, and the MRU Open, Open Division in February of 2021.

I have been coaching squash since I was 16 years old. Before joining Vernon Squash Club, I was the Assistant Squash Professional at the University of Calgary; helping grow the program to 200+ juniors, and 100+ adults in three years. I have also coached for Mount Royal. I have also had the pleasure to assist David Pearson – who was the first person to coach the Men’s and Women’s world champion—with his squash camps.
